To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Read this if you are a fan of Shankar the author and the extraordinary man that Vivekananda was. It is a great book with surprising look at the food that Vivekananda loved eating and cooking. It's the closest you will ever come to meeting the true human side of this great man.
The only thing that probably could improve would be a more chronological arrangement of the book rather than what it is now - a collection of stories and anecdotes that are scattered in random order. But this is more a criticism for the editors than the author.
Nice book of Swami Vivekananda with a different perspective. Unlike most of the religious books based on Swami Vivekananda this is the one which is more occupied with the eating habits, likes, dislikes of Swamiji with a hint of humour sometimes. Also we get to know the socio economic condition at that period which also influenced Swamiji's life and philosophies.
