Absolute waste of money

Although it is a really interesting book to read but the unit that I got was full of spelling mistakes.
There were so many mistakes that it is really hard to read it. I feel cheated after buying this book. Please do not buy this book from Amazon it is absolutely a waste of money either download a soft copy or visit a physical store and check the book before buying.

I regret not reading this book when I first started earning
Note that this book doesn't contain any information on how to invest if that is what you are are looking for, it instead focuses on the habits one must cultivate in order to have more control over your finances. The book conveys this via short stories which are packed full of wisdom and are not boring to read through.
Must Read for anyone who just started a job and is clueless about how to handle his finances

Great book! The author, writes about the wisdom of wealth possessed by ancient Babylonians.All historians agree with the fact that babylon was the richest of all of the ancient kingdoms, although it was located in the middle of a dry, arid desert.The information contained in this book is acquired by the careful transliteration of the ancient clay tablets discovered by archeologists over the many years after the discovery of the ruins of this once great kingdom in ancient mesopotamia.The first section deals with advice on money-making by a very rich & powerful man named Arkad.He is undoubtedly the richest man in Babylon for he even lends gold to the emperor in the times of crisis. The later half describes tales which are directly taken from the ancient tablets, all containing profound financial advice on the art of wealth-incremement.
150 odd pages, took me about 5 hours to finish it.Go for it, its really a good book unlike all those other books on the same subject that promise to provide a lot but is full of pseudoscience & BS.

Nobody gets rich without working and we know that we should work hard. But what does hard work mean? This book answers it well.
We all earn some money yet after years of work, many of us still live from hand to mouth. This book answers the mistake we do.
The best is, it answers the role of luck in success.

There is a beautiful way of explaining everything with a story. Explaining the basic concepts as story helps more than being bullet points as you can relate to the characters and backdrop. Want to give 4.5 but no option for that so 4. One less point is because of personal opinion though and that is usage of thy, thyself kind of lines mixing with contemporary english for direct speech offsets ourselves while reading. Only that i felt as off putting when doing prolonged read other than that, this book is a must read like rich dad poor dad and is a combination of RDPD with Laws of attraction and other money making swlf help books. Yet to implement these in real life to show results so just treat this as book review and not a testimony on the principles after personal experience. Changed my mind to give 5 * now as the book content deserves it.

I found the stories entertaining and the financial lessons as valid today as they were in Babylon millennia ago. This book takes the form of stories from Babylonian citizens each touching on an aspect of personal finance (save 10% of your earnings, don’t rent but rather own property and invest your money wisely so it may grow etc etc)
None of this is new to me however sometimes you need a reminder to jolt you out of bad financial habits.

I'm not much of a self help book reader. This book was in my list of recommendations, decided to give it a shot.
This is by far the best and only self help book you will ever need in personal finance. Everybody between 18 and 45 must read this book. Simple advice that anybody can follow and everyone should follow.
Finished reading it in just 3 hours.
Again it is a must read. If possible buy a physical copy.
