To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I have samples almost all the books of Bepin Behari. He was probably genuinely mystified by what he was doing, but the symbols are a hodge podge are western and indian symbols, leading only to more confusion, not clarity. Can read this for fun and entertainment only, cannot use his books to do any useful predictions. Best to read Shri K.N.Rao if you wish to get started with practical application of Jyotish.
This book was highly recommended to me by a friend. There are 278 pages. 2 drawings in black and white, no photos. I think it is excellent for someone running a seminar or masterclass, or as a text book, because it is a fully comprehensive coverage of the meanings of the planets, including rahu and ketu, signs, and all the nakshatras. It is not a predictive book or a cookbook. It even explains the myths behind the astro glyphs which is a rare occurrence. But I would say it is just as useful for people studying western astrology as well as the vedic. Or for anyone interested in ancient mythology.
Myths and Symbols of Vedic Astrology
A really wonderful book! Extremely rich in content with not a word wasted. The content is very deep and assumes prior knowledge of vedic astrology, so perhaps over-whelming for beginners. Leaves alot for the mind to contemplate on. A very precious book indeed!
