After watching the movie I was left thirsting to know more about the world of Predator Cities. I personally feel that a movie cannot possibly depict what is written in a book entirely so I had to buy this for myself. I can only tell one thing, that is I love this book. I am a die hard fan of fantasy and science fiction and hence this book appeals to those interested in this genrè.
The story starts of in a post-apocalyptic world where cities are built/engineered to be mobile and hunt for resources. The present generation are referred to as the ancient ones who have caused irreparable damage to the planet through a 60 minute war. Larger cities hunt for smaller cities and towns and strip them for parts, fuel and food resources. The guild of engineers are responsible to keep the cities up and running while the guild of historians are supposed research or collect ancient tech and maintain museums and artifacts. This book has a lot more to offer than the movie (obviously). It is a short and fun read.
