To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Lots of valuable information. Dozens of strategies with examples and explanations. Organized well and easy to read. About the 'common sense' argument some reviewers expressed- Common sense is not so common and most of the advice here isn't practiced by most people optimally .I suggest that you read the book carefully, devote time to think about the strategies that are presented, internalize the information and apply it in your life. I enjoyed reading this book and I already started applying the advice in my life good luck to all :)
While I enjoyed Dr. Silberman's well organized thesis on developing your PQ (PeopleSmart Quotient), I found his format overly dry and at times lacking in depth. Although well layed out and punctuated by examples, this summary approach was often dry in its presentation and left me wanting more personable material to support the author's explanations. While I would still recommend this book, the potential reader must realize it is organized more like a crash course on relationships rather than an in depth study of them.
