If your aim is to get Bigger, Leaner and Stronger in a healthy way, then this is the book for you.
This book proposes some very radical ideas which go against all bodybuilding bro science. eg: "Pump is essential for size. Work out 7 days for best benefits. Confuse your muscles for best growth."
Mike debunks all these myths backed by scientific research. I did not believe what he preached at first but I tried it out and it did work. Simple things such as the wrong number of reps really do matter.
Though I have 13 years of lifting weights, never have I ever come across any one person/resource who could clearly elucidate what needed to be done to reach by physical goals - lower fat/increase size. This book achieves exactly that. It gives you the exact details of what needs to be done to attain your dream body.
What it contains?
The workout routine, details on how weights should be lifted and a nutrition section which guides you on how to prepare your own diet to bulk, cut or do both at the same time.
What it takes?
Being spot on with nutrition,lifting and cardio, having access to the right equipment and finally actually doing the workout consistently for 1 year. Yes, there are scheduled breaks and weeks off in between.
Maximum of 1 hour per day, 3- 5 days a week. Cardio only for 2 hours per week
Effectiveness of Workouts
The combination of diet, exercise and rest advised does really work. Instant results? No. Nothing gives instant results. Keep at it and the results are very clear after a few weeks and long lasting.
