I was looking forward to this final book in the series but it was just a compilation of mainly 2nd epilogues with a few extra ones. Having just read the whole series I had already read most of these so felt I had been ripped off paying for what I thought was a brand new book. Buyers beware.
The book was a conclusion/ additional pieces to earlier stories and whilst I had read some of them I had not read all. A little sugary seeming to want to please with a good additional ending rather than thinking of a more surprising turn of events.
I've loved all the Bridgerton novels and am a great fan of JQ. So I bought this eagerly - but I didn't read the blurb that described it as a series of epilogues to the Bridgerton stories. So, as I had been anticipating a new full length story, I was disappointed. That said, the epilogues are charming, but not what I wanted.
Very disappointed in this novel, well group of short stories really.Having read the rest of the Bridgerton series I was expecting better.A real let down and I don't advise wasting time buying this item.
So far the second epilogue of "The Duke And I" is a little annoying, as the characters keep chatting about nothing else other than Daphne being pregnant for a fifth time. I'm hoping it gets better towards the end. So far I'm giving it 2 stars that may improve as I read on... There will be updates
All of the second epilogues are now at the end of each book. So, if you're buying it for the second epilogues, don't. The only new thing in this book is Violet's story, and to me, it really wasn't worth buying the book just for Violet's story. You may feel differently, but Violet's story wasn't that fresh and new and riveting for me to pay for the whole book.
