This is by far one of the best books ever written about Kenny Everett that I have read. It is not a biography as such, but more the story of how Cleo and Kenny meet and their life experiences together. The highs and lows, the laughter and the sadness of two really close friends. It is one of my favourite books of all time and I have been hoping for years that this would eventually be released on the Kindle(and I'm over the moon to see it's finally here)! Cleo Rocos has written a moving account of her time spent with Kenny. It is clearly not one of those books written just to make a bit of money but more a true and honest account of a great friendship and it comes across that way. It is written from the heart. It wouldn't really matter if you had never even heard of Kenny and Cleo - it's a story about love and friendship which will stay with you. I only wish that Cleo Rocos would write more books because she is clearly a talented writer. What more can I say? Five Stars!

After watching a recent documentary about Kenny, I was left wanting to know more about him. This book told me all I wanted to know and more!
Cleo has done a fantastic job of writing this incredibly honest, funny and emotional insight into her amazing friendship with Kenny.
When I say funny, I have never laughed so much reading a book, and I also never wanted to put it down.
So anyone wanting a book about Kenny, look no further. This book is a must!

This book doesn't really give any great insights into either Kenny or Cleo, but it does give you an account of their friendship and love for each other. Both come out of it well, and you feel an empathy for them. At times very funny, occasionally moving, it is well worth reading.

A fabulous account of two soulmates who were a well-known double act. This book was a pleasure to read because I loved Kenny Everett- he was a genius. Cleo, his beautiful assistant and friend writes an account that made me laugh but also her sadness after his death made me cry. That kind of love between two people is priceless and rare. A great read.

Utterly bonkers. Cleo Rocos can also write! Not just the pretty...um...face from the Kenny Everett television shows, she's also a funny and engaging author.

This is the story of the close relationship Cleo and Kenny shared until his untimely death from AIDS. Written with love, it's not an Everett biography as such. Just a lovingly told story of two oddball personalities and how they meshed so perfectly.

I stumbled across this book while browsing idly, and decided to read it as I had recently finished reading Mercury and Me. As Kenny Everett and Freddie Mercury knew each other, I thought it would make an interesting comparison.
I have to say it is the better book by far. Even if you had never heard of Kenny Everett, Cleo Rocos tells a wonderful story of an unusual friendship that lasted many years until Everett's death. It's captivating, hilarious, touching and sad. That's all I can say, really.
