Read and go for art of living courses, the happiness program and the art of silence programs. Will gain in-depth understanding and practice. This book is Very boring and has very few practical techniques. Art of living offers such amazing and so many practical techniques.
As I have an interest and it is only an interest in buddhism, I do not practice. I have read a few books on the subject. I am no expert but something in this did not feel right. That is the only way I can think of putting it. I think if you are curious, look elsewhere as there are far better books out there on the subject.
