Best mouse you can possibly buy at this price point. It is light weight, comfortable to hold ( both with claw and palm grip) and it just a different experience all together. Bought it for playing fornite, six siege and pubg, and I feel like my game has improved.
this is my 2nd time buying a G402, i purchased a new one because my old G402 was wonderfully and i loved it every bit, but after a year it started to not function, the RIGHT click not functioning properly and the middle mouse button not working, i thought then that the device only comes with a one year warranty hence i ignored it and bought a new one, the thing with the new one is that i purchased the new one in june 2018 and in feb 2019 the scroll wheel stopped working, since then, ive been going back an forth from amazon and Logitech to get the device replaced as device comes with 2 year warranty, but no is willing to help. would not recommend the G402 at all, to anyone looking to purchase it, rather i would recommend you to spend the extra money and get the G502 Hero.
Smooth mouse movement; quick and easy transitions between DPIs. Build quality could have been better.
Edit(2 months after): My doubts on the build quality were correct. Left clicks of the mouse gone after 2 months of average use. Trying to get a replacement from logitech service centre. Truly disappointed with the product. Shouldn't have switched from my trusted Steelseries to Logitech.
Edit: Middle Mouse Button stopped working after 1.5 years. Didn't know that mouse comes with 2-year warranty, so didn't apply for new one. After reading other reviews about mouse buttons not working, really not looking forward to purchasing this model again!
Works as expected. Good replacement for my MX-518 mouse. Comfortable to use, although I have not used it for a marathon session. Has multiple mouse-feet. Button quality is awesome throughout! LEDs look sexy. Good value for money!! No cons that I noticed (except maybe the cable doesn't look as rugged as the device).
Left button doesn't work properly anymore since last month, so hold and select doesn't work. Basically means that multiple item selection becomes extremely unlikely. Also prone to double clicks. Wheel went off this week so scrolls with a noise and is not smooth either. Initially my only disappointment was the cable but its usability has become so poor that I had to replace it with my Logitech wireless mouse it was supposed to replace. Extremely poor product and should be avoided.
When held down- the RMB stops registering for a few nanoseconds. If you're playing as a sniper in an FPS though- that means you're constantly scoping in and out- the issue ruins the mouse as being FPS viable. The other one's a bit more troublesome- my mouse recently has began not tracking consistently on the Y axis- when drawing a circle- it will sporadically jitter across that axis, making aiming impossible.
After using it for multiple weeks I recently noticed that the mouse has a major tracking issue. The mouse pointer continuously skips or does not register the low sensitivity swipe in FPS games. It’s frustrating the play CS GO when you swipe to get the HS , however the mouse fails to respond and only moves 1/4 the distance. I’ve tried multiple mouse surfaces however the issue persists everywhere. I’m not sure if this problem is product specific or the entire G402 series is plagued.
Its great for gaming. Features I like the most are- 1-speed of the mouse can be changed using the extra buttons present very quickly with out any settings. 2-Ergonomic design and feels good with this price range. Features I dislike 1-The right mouse click might stop working after few days of usage.Mine stopped exactly after usage of 13 months.
As everybody else is saying, this model has an issue of left click double clicking automatically, you press it once, mouse presses it twice, it is super annoying, and it started the fault on the 11th day of purchase so I cant return it to amazon, since 10 days have passed. I would advice all of you to invest your money in a better product, i mean a Rs. 200 chinese no brand mouse lasts more than this Logitech crap. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
