Best mouse you can possibly buy at this price point. It is light weight, comfortable to hold ( both with claw and palm grip) and it just a different experience all together. Bought it for playing fornite, six siege and pubg, and I feel like my game has improved.
Second Time I'm buying G402 because my first one broke down in a few months. I love the mouse. I am disappointed that it broke. The Warranty process is not straight forward and I just gave up. It's so annoying.
G402 in itself is a great product with lots of buttons for MOBA gameplay. Custom Logitech Settings make this Mouse one of the best budget based gaming device.
3starts coz its super uncomfortable idk how its ergonomics are.. and how you are suppose to hold it... i tried clawgrip, palm grip,Arm grip nothing works your last 2 fingers are like just staying there... theres no place to like rest those 2 fingers so what happens is pinky finger like stays in the mouse pad and the other finger on mouse? Like how is it suppose to be good? Don't get intimidated by reviews and stars get the steel series or razer mouse 👍 i regret buying it... or if you wanna go for logitec any ways go for the g102 or g pro or g502
Okay, I don't actually write reviews that often, writing this after using the G402 for 1 year and two months.
First of all, this is a really good mouse for the price paid. I've enjoyed every single minute spend on it. It doesn't have rgb if you're an rgb person. And for someone like me who plays low dpi with arm aim and fingertip grip, this mouse is very comfortable to hold although I wish this was lighter.
Even after using it for this long, the weight is the only thing that bothers me, if you're an fps person who play low dpi, this is something to be noted.
And reason why I'm writing this review is the issue that developed a few months before. At first when I'm holding the right click for ads, it just de register and register again in an instant. This was very rare like once or twice in a month. But recently this has started happening so frequently at the point which it starts to get annoying at times. The reason I choose this over g102 is the shape and lesser complaints of double click issue.
I'm preparing go rma or upgrade to something like glorious model o or cm mm 710.
Left click button started malfunctioning in 2 years. I was using it to automate excel shortcuts but if you use it for gaming then the life is even shorter. I was able to buy the Omron switch Seperatly and solder it... So now my mouse is back to normal. But for people who are not familiar with soldering. It will be tough.
This Review After 5 months of usage- I bought this ouse in may and this is October and after 5 months of usage this mouse is amazing for gaming. But the build quality could have been better because after 5 months of use the middle mouse button is not working properly. I have to press the middle mouse button with a lot of force for it to work and I haven't even used that button that much for it to go bad so soon. overall the mouse is okay, but the only issue is with the middle mouse button.
Oveall the quality and feel of the product is good, but middle mouse button click is so hard to press that after an hour's use it leaves my fingers aching. If you don't use middle mouse button extensively, this is a good buy.
Scroll is easy, key press have very good feedback. size is good to fit your wrist. texture is good so that it wont slip from your hand.
I rarely use the dpi changing feature. the two extra feature keys does not fit exactly at thumb's position the one at the back side should have been below the front one, that would have been better for gaming. neverhteless i got it at discount so it was worth it.
Do not buy from appario retailers, they are sending used products instead of the new one. I have received my logitech mouse with minor scratches under it. Moreover, the serial numbers on the box and on the mouse are entirely different.
About the mouse, it is indeed a very good mouse. Although, it is little bit heavy and large for my hands, I really enjoyed the performance, as it improves our gaming experience upto a greater extend. It is the best gaming mouse available under 2k rupees.
The packaging was terrible but the product feels good as new. Also for people with long thumb finger you might find the hold a bit wierd since I'm always clicking the dpi buttom present at the bottom-left. This mouse is best for it's price but the hold is not for everyone, choose wisely! Edit: after a month of use the mouse dpi has been changing on it's own without me acknowleding it, this is not good !
They are saying 8 programmable buttons.. how can you program left,.right and scroll button??? What is programmable in that..??? Except for DPI you can't program anything... Even for most gamers DPI will be fixed.. they don't keep changing frequently.. a small hp mouse at 400/ will.do the same job...useless
Its a bit on the heavier side. So if you're an FPS player then go for it. But if you play MOBAs like Dota 2, its probably not the best as the right click feels softer after waves of continuous clicking which happened to my mouse. The mouse 1 and 2 are placed a bit nearer to you so you have to really curl your thumb to reach them. No braided cable so thats a bummer.
