To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It's incredible that one of the best Indian cook books I have ever seen is 99p. Nothing about the title, cover, price or unknown authors prepares you for the joy of real Indian curry recipes inside, this book is not for someone who wants a Chicken Tikka Masala or a Bhuna or a Madras recipe. Outside of India, many people will not be familiar with real curries, so I implore you to try this book if you wish to eat what people eat in India. There is nothing complicated, most spices are easily available and you would benefit from a wet or dry spice grinder. I did notice one mistake where onions where added twice in a menu so read through the recipe first, just to check. Well done Shanti Kapoor.
