after this book I feel like I need more of Nick and Charlie in my life😭😭😭This is another great book by @aliceoseman ...I absolutely love her books 🤩🤩🤩 ”When people know you're mentally ill, most people either wanna ignore it completely or they treat you like you're strange, scary, or fascinating. Very few people are actually good at the middle ground.” the book talks about mental illness so lightly that you can't stop being affected by it. ❤️I m so so attached to Charlie and seeing him sad breaks my heart too . The book is more about Charlie and his siblings than "Charlie and nick" .It features narration of tori , Charlie and Oliver . And I just loved the part of little Oliver 💓.the book is set just the next Christmas after Charlie is sent to hospital .It tells how Charlie and his family is dealing with he going to hospital. It's highly recommended book 📚 nd the one obsessed with heartstopper should surely read this one
This was hard to read, I’m glad that Heartstopper is lighter and happier because it means so much to people but it’s easy to forget what Charlie has really been through. How his family react to his sexuality and mental health is so frustrating but honest. Oliver is a gem that we do not deserve and Tori is such a great big sister that I wish she was mine. TW for mental health, self harm, eating disorders - Nick is also just best boy...Love hip I’m so much.
This is such a nice story, I like the different view points, little Oliver is adorable. I like how the story touches on Charlie's eating disorder and how tori understands him. And the relationship between the spring siblings is amazing.
I loved this novella. Set after the events of Solitaire it follows the Spring family trying to get through the first Christmas after Charlie's anorexia treatment. It was so nice to step back into these characters!
