To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
If I could have given no stars I would have. Typos and recipe inconsistencies throughout. Mentions special equipment in ingredients but makes no further mention as to what equipment they are referring to.
I guess that if anything is true, I have learned that cooking is not easy for a person like me. I didn't learn how to cook growing up, I always was outside working with my Dad. My head under the hood of a big rig and fetching tools. My brothers hated working with him, and I was the only one that loved it. I did learn how to fend for myself with cars and almost anything else. My dad always said that it was good to be a girl, but that girl needed to know how to be self-sufficient. Well, I definitely am that, thanks to him. Oh, and he always made me wear gloves to that I would still have soft hands WITHOUT grease under the nails!!! LOL That being said I have collected cookbooks so that I can fix anything that I want. I love having the digital ones, they don't take up any space. Also having a small family now that the kids and grandkids are grown, having a cookbook is the only way to go in making smaller portions.
This book is part of the Effortless Chef series and contains over 50 popsicle recipes. Who on a warm summer day doesn't want a nice refreshing popsicle and with this book you can have a different one for almost two months. Winner!! I picked a couple to tempt you with. The poolside pop is lemon lime with some fresh strawberries added for a crunch. (Crunchy popsicle. Sounds interesting.). The Kiwi Popsicle had Avocado and Lime. The United States Popsicle has Vanilla Yogurt and Sugar cones and popsicle sticks. It also is colored with red, white, and blue food coloring. (You don't need to wait for the Fourth of July.). I hope I have tempted you. I know I have me.
The pictures that are there don't match up to recipes. There are just recipes. This is a pet peeve for me. I'm left with clue what they actually look like it how the texture might be other than my imagination. I feel that recipe books, especially with a huge picture on the cover sound have more pics in the book. That is my personal preference.
I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet but I did find quite a few that I am really interested in trying. Recipe ingredients are reasonable and the recipes seem easy enough. I did have to read twice on a couple of them to make sure I understood them correctly but otherwise seem easy enough.
