It would have been nice to hear more on the friendship between Ursula and Ariel's mother. I felt it could have used more a wicked spin and got darker. I mean...this is a villain's story. She went through a horrific event after what happened with her land father. It would have been nice to hear more back story on her relationship with Tritan and when they really drifted apart. It would have been really cool to hear more about her dark nature. It mostly focused on her getting revenge on Tritan after what he did to her, which is also fine, but could we have maybe gotten a story a little too grown for 5th graders to read?
Another fine installment of the Disney Villians Series. I liked the background of where Ursula came from and who she really was in relation to Triton...I thought that made her anger and hatred all the more believable.
Again, the Three Sisters play an enormous role in this story. It seems the further into the Villians series we go, the more prominent they become, almost eclipsing the main character entirely.
I personally don't mind this as I like Circe and her three sisters, but some people seem to be irritated by this. Just something to keep in mind if you've finished the second book and are trying to decide if you want to continue on.
I loved the first two books in the series I couldn’t put them down. I just found this one confusing and all over the place. Not sure if it’s supposed to be about Circe, princess tulip, or nanny but the main character wasn’t Ursula. A little disappointed because Ursula is my favorite villain and this was a missed opportunity at a great story! But I will say I’m enjoying the odd sisters and Circe storyline. I will continue the series because I loved the first two so much. I just finished the 4th book and it’s excellent! Don’t stop reading the series because of this book!
I got this book with a $0.99 deal and was glad I didn't pay full price. This series of books is interesting in the fact that you get the villains' origin stories but at full price they're to expensive bc they're very short books. I'd rate this one as just OK. Liked it bc I'm a big Disney villain fan, otherwise give this one a pass.
Not as good as the first 2 books in this series, Ursula's book is 3rd in the Villains series. This story helps to tie all of the other books together. A fun look at the background for Ursula, the Sea Witch and why she became a villain.
I started with book 3 because I didn’t realize they were all connected. I figured each book was a back story, of sorts, on each villain.
Good quick story but it was less than half about the sea witch and more about three sister witches, their cat, the Nanny character and a princess that resides in the castle above the sea witch’s domain. I didn’t hate it, also didn’t love it.
