To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I am a intermediate fiddle player that plays mostly old time. I play some classical stuff and thought it may be fun to mess around with some more. I thought an easy book would be a great place to start. Not this one though. It's only parts of the songs so it's not really that useful to me. I messed around with it for a couple days but I doubt if I'll pick it up again. It's truly for beginners.
Bought this for my daughter to continue practicing over the summer. A little bit hard for her now but with more practice i think she will be able to move on to a more difficult level in another month or two.
Overall, this is a great collection of simplified well known classical works, however, I was disapointed at the amount of numbered fingering on every song... I find my students are distracted from reading the notes when the numbers are above every note. Just my 2 cents.
