The book was ordered in order learn some classical pieces. However, there is only one page of music for each song, whereas the actual length of the original songs are much, much longer. Therefore it is not possible to learn the whole piece from the book.
This is a rating for the kindle version only - If I had the book version I would probably have given it 5 stars. The electronic version is far too small to be able to rad the notation. Will have to work out a way to print screen from my phone, convert to pdf, transfer to a PC and then print! Quite a lot of hassle, just to be able to see the music from a music stand! Great selection of classic tunes and nice transposition for a beginner though.
Lots of fun to be able to play some interesting music even though I'm a beginner, get this if you want to play classical songs you know rather than twinkle twinkle little star or Mary had a little lamb!
I bought this book because one of the BEST EVER classical violin pieces is in it (In the Hall of the Mountain King). I am only Grade One and I didn't expect it to be this hard, it's best suited to Grade Three upwards. Still five stars though!!!
This song book really motivated my daughter to practice more because she's heard these songs before and would like to play them and show off to her friends. Also, she showed it to her teacher and she too liked the way the authors transposed the song to the level of beginners that made her job easier to teach. Very satisified!
