Very cute for an airplane loving child otherwise I think it’s a bit boring. There are some pretty big words in there for a board book and the age range this book appears to be targeting. Received this in our prime book box and will be gifting this to an expectant friend who is doing an airplane nursery ( we do books instead of cards in our family), which was my intention when selecting our books this time anyway. This is not a book I would have bought again but the illustrations are very cute.
Some of the worst writing I've ever encountered in a children's book. And this is probably the worst offender in the author's entire series. The prose doesn't flow at all and is painful to read, but the illustrations and variety of planes and other air vehicles make up for it. This series is one of my toddler son's favorites all the same
My toddler likes this book, but my wife and I don't much like it. There's no real story and the words don't flow well. It's a bit awkward and disjointed to read, unlike others kids books by Julia Donaldson that flow really well.
Also, the book arrived warped, so if you put it flat on a table two corners touch the table and two are off the table. It's a minor annoyance.
