Simha International by Sundari Venkataraman is the first book in the Bansal Legacy romance novella series set in the backdrop of luxury hotels. I have read quite a few of the author's works now and have to appreciate and like her work. Her books are always captives, wholesome, and with a dash of erotica to keep it lively.

The story revolves around our main protagonist Rohit, the CEO of Simha International, and Tasha Sawant, a duty manager at Simha International.

The language is pretty lucid and fast-paced narration and the rollercoaster of emotions keeps you engaged throughout the book. The details of the scenery are descriptive and give a vivid imagination of the setting. I loved both the main characters and how their journey unfold although would have loved it if the backstory were better placed.

Many other characters in the story felt redundant sometimes because of the lack of storyline of them. Although the author tried to bring the hotel in focus with the thief story, it wasn't fitting well with the storyline and felt forced sometimes. I would love it if the author start to stop adding LGBTQ characters as a token part. Give them a backstory and add it to the story, if they are impacting the plotline.

I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. It was a nice fluff read and provided with some beautiful moments and banters between Rohit and Tasha. The story also had heartbreak, gaslighting, career, love, and the many nuisances of family drama written well. The erotic scenes between the main characters were written well and didn't overshadow the story too. Overall a nice romantic read.

In this book, Author narrates about the life of Rohit Bansal, Managing director of Hotel Simha International and Tasha Sawant, who works in the same hotel..Their relationship is beautifully penned by the author..

To start with, Rohit is a successful businessman who is envied by many for his excellent skills and growth in hotel industry..He is worried when he finds out that some theft is happening in his hotel which may seriously damage his hotel’s reputation..He appoints a private detective to find out the thief and finally he is surprised when the secret about thief is revealed..

Both Rohit and Tasha have some bad experiences with their past relationships..But when they meet, they are attracted to each other..Whether they are able to love and trust each other forms the rest of the story..

The description about hotel industry by the author is good..The way in which Tasha’s younger brother changes is realistic..Rohit’s relationship with his parents and family is so interesting..Both Rohit and Tasha are depicted as strong individuals who rise easily after everytime they fall..

Overall, I feel this book is interesting, engaging and a light read!!!

My rating for this book is 3.5/5.

Delightful, delightful, delightful! That is the best way to describe the new series of Sundari Venkatraman. "Simha International" is the first installment of the "The Bansal Legacy" series.
Simha International is a work of contemporary fiction and interpersonal drama. It is intended for general adult readers owing romance, drama, social challenges for a girl, etc.
The book follows the story of two young, career-driven individuals: Rohit is an intelligent, kind, self-made man who knows how to balance work and life. He is the managing director of a five-star hotel. Tasha is a beautiful, confident, hardworking, and vibrant girl who works in the same hotel. They both are burdened with the pain of past failure relationships and hesitate to step into a new relationship.
There is drama in the story; Rohit finds out about a thief in the hotel, and he has to find out that person to save his image of the hotel, as an old client was gets cheated with that thief.
It is so lovely to read a book that exists in a world of fine food, proper etiquette, and a beautiful location. The descriptive work of Sundari mam is fantastic, and this book brought me right to the streets of Goa, my soul city. The story is fun, intriguing, and entertaining that you will finish it in one go.
The author always talks about serious topics of society in her books. This time she reflects on a challenge a girl's faces and how she never gets the appreciation or identity just because she is a girl and from her own family.
I always enjoy diving into the fictional world created by Sundari mam because she knows how to balance all the exciting elements with emotional parallels to modern life and drama so that the story's characters resonate with contemporary readers.
Overall, "Simha International" offers you everything you hope for in contemporary fiction.

Rohit is a cool, handsome and kindest person who has gone through a lot in his past. He is the managing director of Simha International hotel. He is someone whom every girl has eyes on.

Tasha on the other hand joins there as a duty manager who has a bitter life, be it family or personal. She had a broken heart, who eventually starts falling for Rohit. Gradually with time, he also falls for her despite of their tragic lives.

The story takes turns and moves forward with many subplots. There is a thief who steals from within, having the gutt feel that he/she won't get caught. On the other hand someone from the past enters in their life. What will Rohit do inorder to save the reputation of Simha International? Will he find out the thief? Will Tasha and Rohit take their relationship further?

Read and find out the answers. This is a romantic thriller which is written very well. There is a lot of Romance and the way author describes the chemistry between them seems lovely.
The depiction of places were nice and the characterisations could have been better for sub characters. Overall it was a thrilling read.

Book : Simha International
Author: Sundari Venkatraman
Review: The book is of romance thriller genre
A thief comes up with a simple modus operandi, believing that nobody’s really going to find out anything about the thefts taking place.
Ok positives about the book , the book starts off very well there is a whole lot of intrigue around the theft it was really interesting but as story develops instead of mind boggling detection it just shifts on romance .
I wished the storyline was a little more intriguing.
Apart from that I loved the descriptions in the story which allow you to paint a vivid picture of the scene in your mind. Play of words is nice and playful , overall tone of the story is light not heavy.
I highly recommend this

Mariyam
4.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Entertaining Romance Read Full of Passion. An alpha male and a strong and charming heroine.

Simha International by Sundari Venkatraman is a story of a young and dashing managing director of a hotel (same name as the book’s name) Rohit Bansal and his love interest Tasha Sawant.

Both Rohit and Tasha have bitter memories of broken hearts. Both have suffered the trauma of failed relationships in the past. And when the two lonely souls come close, passion builds strong.

Both aren’t ready to commit but desperately looking for refuge and comfort in each other and whether this desire will transform into love or not is the suspense the book offers. There’s one more subplot goes alongside and that’s there’s a thief in the hotel. The suspects are many.

The plot somewhat looked misdirected with quite a lot of backstory dumping. The descriptions of the scenes and places often seemed like a drag, and I had to skim a couple of pages to avoid getting bored. However, the author has brilliantly crafted the scenes and the narrative and descriptive are well written. The dialogues to narrative transition is smooth and seamless. The love scenes are well written. They are cheesy and delicious.

The book has a whole bunch of crazy characters. The characters work like a filler to the scenes, and I found me desperate to read more and more about Rohit and Tasha’s building chemistry which was good. Their chemistry sizzles and steam flows off the pages. However, the relationship lacks any emotional connect. I want to read more about emotions infused conversations. The playful banter and dialogues were good but still I miss the description of human emotions.

Often at times, the novel is more dependent on Telling rather than Showing but that can be overlooked with the quality of writing and the smooth flow of dialogues.

Indeed Ms. Venkatraman has a commanding grasp on English language. This makes Simha International a complete package. A box full of steamy and delicious love bites, a sexy alpha male, a strong charming heroine, suspense, thrill, and a lot of sizzling chemistry.

The lack of depth in the plot, the unstructured storyline, and lengthy flashbacks couldn’t overshadow the quality of writing and couldn’t affect the overall rating of this book. The beautiful descriptions, the seamless scene transitions, and the impeccable editing add more stars. So, as an avid reader of entertaining romantic fiction I give Simha International 4 stars. Yes, 4 hot and steaming stars!

Simha International by Sundari Venkatraman is good book to read . Sundari has penned her characters in a very nice fashion . Especially a business man with his perception towards his work life and love life .

I loved Rohit Bansal character ,he is charming ,friendly and open..

Now to save his company reputation he even forgets Tasha′s love which speaks volumes about his business persona .

Where as TASHA character is good to read but where I lost her is when she did not like face her tyrant brother entry and her family′s rants(is she being cowardice in approach like the timid rabbit 😦 ) .

Tasha made me feel like ‘ She was some kind of clingy parasite ’ who did not have any work in Simha International other than thinking about Rohit Bansal ′s body , helping nature ,and his exes .

TASHA needs to be given some kind work . Despite being duty manger she fails to impress me , I am helpless that I FOUND Tasha being a helpless lady .

Needlessly to say I did not either find Tasha being a strong willed persona like the author says .

THE PLOT IS SUPERB.

OVERALL Simha International by Sundari Venkatraman is one time read book .

4.0 out of 5 stars Hot Romance with suspense...really addictive

Sundari Venkatraman is a well-known Indie author with romance as her forte.

Simha International is the first part of Bansal Legacy series and as usual, I got hooked from page one.

Sundari has a knack for weaving a romantic story with a background of issues like widow remarriage, domestic abuse etc. as in this case girl child.

In Simha International, though the main protagonist is Rohit Bansal and Tasha Sawant, I feel Tasha is the real hero in this.

Simha International is a fast-paced, hot romance with suspense and interesting characters which makes the read addictive.

One cannot avoid falling in love with Sundari’s male protagonist as they are always portrayed as perfect and every woman’s Prince charming and Rohit is no different. Tasha’s character is portrayed as strong and is well-defined.

Even though I loved the story I found some links missing. Like for example what happens to Akhil Shetty? And also a little more description of Tarun’s time in the hotel which makes him a changed person and how his parents especially his mother reacts when she learns how he had spent his time in Mumbai working in a hotel would have been an added flavor.

Having said that, I can’t wait to read the next two books of the series which I think will be equally interesting and addictive.
