I'm so impressed. So honest and well intended- latter is equally important because it gives you a feeling that author goes out of his way to give you whatever means he has to ensure you to succeed in your culinary experiments. He hasn't held back and that can't be said of 'most' of the food writers out there.
It may or may not have the best recipes but this surely is an excellent start- an introduction to the culinary world of Kerala and a sneak peak into its culture and history. 5/5
P.S: it doesn't have photographs. So if that's what you have in mind, you may wanna skip
