To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It's never too late to learn! I always loved the idea of drawing but struggled to achieve any accuracy and the idea of perspective and foreshortening of the human body floored me completely. After purchasing this book my drawing has improved in leaps and bounds. I found the step-by-step approach suited me and it was written in a very understandable way. There are 2 or 3 drawings on every page broken up with a few paragraphs of explanatory text and exercises. The significant turning point for my drawing came in learning how to measure and looking at shapes of negative space. This book covers a huge range from still life, landscapes, composition and creating depth; the human form and its poses, balance and proportion and a section on facial expression and gestures. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to start, or to improve their drawing skills. I am sure I will have this book by me for some time to come and keep repeating and improving my skills.
