I thought this anthology would be an interesting take on Lovecraft pastiches. I read the first two or three stories with interest, and there are certainly a few by authors worthy of note (Tim Curran, Joseph Pulver Sr., Bogi Takacs, Wendi Dunlap and Cody Goodfellowin particular). However, the problem is that (by the time i read to the end) I found too many of them have the same basic plot - spaceship arrives on unknown planet, horrendous monster (vaguely part of the Lovecraft mythos) appears, destroys crew, end of story. This anthology is in my view a good idea poorly executed.
