This is the best flex box from my favorite electrical company GM Modular. The wire is long enough as described. The box itself has good build quality, rotates smoothly and the best part that makes this particular model of GM flex box better than the rest all out there is the superior ergonomics. The box itself has two 3-pin sockets and a 2-pin socket and a red indicator light in the centre. All three sockets can fit all sorts of plugs, big or small, Indian or international. They all fit snugly without being overly tight or very loose. They are placed far apart from one another so that if you plug in something into one, it usually doesn't override the other socket, rendering it unusable. And it doesn't have the raised rim of plastic at the circumference that is present in all other GM flex boxes, which allows all sorts of adapters, big or small, to go in all the way and fit snugly while leaving enough space for other adapters. Check the attached photos to have an idea. It's pretty durable and I liked it so much that I purchased a second unit of the same model when I needed another one, and I'd gladly recommend it over any other model/brand to anybody looking for a good quality durable flex box at the ₹300 price segment and with this configuration of sockets.
Not really a con but note from the attached photo of the case, that it's multicolor, as is mentioned in the product title and description, and there's no way for the customer to choose the color they'll get. It's completely random: I got one red and one grey. This is not directed at the product or the seller but to Amazon: please provide photos of the other colors in the product images, and please make it possible to select the color a customer wants to buy.
That's all. It's really good, value for money. Go for it.
Please do not be idiotic like me and plug in a 2000W room heater into it. It'll melt your flex box. I don't blame the company. It was totally idiotic of me to do so. It works fine with an iron, but it was bold of me to think it'll be okay with a 2kW room heater. It worked fine for the first 15 minutes, but then sparked and stopped. It was heated up and the switch had melted and sank inside when I tried to turn it off. Thankfully, it didn't catch fire or blast. Well, I learnt a lesson at the expense of 300+ rupees and fried my perfectly working flex box. Well, time to order another one. Let's see which color I get this time...
