Received and installed LED bulds to microwave January 2017 with both bulbs burnt out within 11 months. Lights in microwave hood fan used 4 to 6 hours per day. Contacted reseller by email and response was a 70% discount to next order. Issue is not the $4 replacement cost but rather their mis-representation in Amazon description that bulbs will last 10's of thousands of hours. Presumed bulbs would last more than 1500 hours. Very misleading claim on bulb life. DO NOT PURCHASE.
I purchased this book based on the strength of previous customer feedback and the fact that the image shows the most up to date version of the book. I was very much looking forward to receiving it.
However, when I went to download it to my kindle app, the book image suddenly changed and I realised I had just downloaded the "graphic version" of the book - which is another way of saying it's a comic for the reader with either limited intellectual ability or an attention span too short to sit down and read a scientific text book with no pictures. If I'd wanted to read a comic, I'd have gone out and bought a copy of Batman!
While I listened to Influence all the way through, I found that I appreciated all the powerful truths about how people are influenced, while at the same time, I was discouraged by this book. The book uses many examples of suicide influencing others to commit suicide, and mass murder inspiring other murders. So, the book contains a lot of negative material but, it is also very strongly against those who are in sales and use any type of artificial influence such as a sale that has a specific time period, and it calls these types of persuasion "weapons of influence". This book talks very much down on people who use even these honest tactics to help people make a decision within a time period. This audio book offers a weeks worth of discouragement. The lessons were valuable, but not worth it. Dr. Robert Cialdini's other book "Yes!: 50 Scientifically Proven Ways to Be Persuasive" is much more positive with just as excellent powerful influence methods backed by research. I recommend "Yes" instead of this book.
