Ich bin begeistert von diesem Kochbuch. Die Rezepte werden immer mit frischen Zutaten hergestellt, was mich positiv überrascht hat, da in amerikanischen Kochbüchern oft mit Dosensuppen und anderen Fertigprodukten gearbeitet wird. Alle Rezepte sind einfach nach zu arbeiten, mit Zutaten, die meist im Haushalt vorhanden oder leicht zu besorgen sind. Von Suppen, Nudelgerichten über Schmorfleisch bis hin zu Nachtisch und Kuchen ist alles vertreten. Auch wenn das Buch in Englisch geschrieben ist, lassen sich die Rezepte mit einem Übersetzter wie z.B. Leo.org einfach übersetzen und nachkochen. Die Rezepte sind nicht auf ein spezielles Schnellkochtopf-Modell abgestimmt und können mit jedem elektrischen Schnellkochtopf nachgekocht werden. Von mir gibt es eine eindeutige Kaufempfehlung!

The author clearly explains how pressure cooker's work and how to adapt recipes if you plan to use an electric pressure cooker or stove-top pressure cooker. I really liked how the recipes focussed on using a 4-quart pressure cooker as I am feeding a small family.

I have a six qt electric pressure cooker but had recently bought a 4 qt one since most of our meals now are for just two people. This book has some great recipes. The pictures are very appetizing looking and excellent quality, the recipes are well-written and easy to understand and I find myself using my 4 qt pressure cooker a lot more often, now. Highly recommend this book to anyone who uses a pressure cooker!
I have only made two recipes from this cookbook. Both were delicious, and instructions were easy to follow. I also use this cookbook as a reference, because the table of cooking times in the back of the book is excellent. I recommend this cookbook.
Meredith really knows how to produce and write really good pressure cooker recipes. I have her cookbook for the large pressure cooker and bought her newer cookbook for the very small pressure cooker. We bought the 4qt cooker for the RV. We have tried many recipes and all have turned out very well, but our favorite is the Rigatoni. Enjoy having a meal and also a healthy frozen lunch for later. This book is GREAT!!!. Meredith Laurence is one of my favorite chefs. Her cookbooks(which I own ALL of them) are rich with great recipes, easy to follow cause she explains everything to you. I never liked pressure cookers until I watched Meredith on QVC & purchased one of hers. Now, I couldn't do without one. I highly recommend this cookbook.
I like the quality of the good Chef Laurence puts together. She instills confidence in the ease of the recipes, she makes me successful, and her education of her readers, she tells me what to do and why I'm doing it! This one is designed for 4 qt. and it's perfect for a the retired couple or individual.
i bought this a couple years ago but i didn't make that much out of it until i did basics and got used to my pressure cooker...so now i'm writing..i am making so much stuff out of here and so far it has all been great...i just made the Italian sausage with white beans and roasted red peppers...my first attempt from the book was the salsa chicken and rice..easy and fast...i highly recommend it especially to people that haven't pressure cooked much...some things like some of the vegetarian or the seafood i'm not sure i'd try, but the beef, poultry and pasta is great....i highly recommend..easy directions and i like her tips if you just started...read the whole recipe before you start and prep every or most stuff to do stress free cooking..enjoy!!!
I have a 2-quart Cosori pressure cooker that came with no recipes. I just 1/2 everything in recipes and so far so good. There's recipes I don't make because I happen to not like that kind of food. That's just me. Ones I've made are great. Give it a shot. You'll be surprised that you can make fancy meals too.
