To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
LOVE THIS BOOK. It has the recipes for almost all of my favorite dishes from Gunpowder. I've done one recipe so far, and as soon as I have time I'm going to make that Old Monk Rum Bread Pudding and so many others. The photography is great, and I love the idea that I can cook home versions of the restaurant's food, which isn't always the case when a restaurant publishes a cookbook.
Beautifully illustrated and clearly laid out collection of recipes from the excellent and eponymous small restaurants in London’s Spitalfields. So much to explore, so much to savour - and so much to enjoy.
Only had the book a few days. Tried 2 dishes upto now which turned out great and very authentic. Having read through the book there are some very different recipes that I can't wait to try. Very interesting read too.
