Written for the American market. I've not heard of:
tasso andouille sausages kielbasa capocollo zatarians gumbo base mix egg roll wraps chicken tenders (are these strips of chicken?) miracle whip cilantro jennie-o cajun style turkey
I think I've worked out some of the other ingredients, but there were just too many I couldn't work out. I did copy out the first two recipes in the book because these I could make with the listed ingredients!! I've made one of them and it was rather nice.
I read through the book looking for some authentic recipes but was turned off by the writing style and awkward instructions. It's full of spelling errors and oddly-worded instructions, making it seem incomplete and unedited.
The recipes are ok but there are a few ingredients I've never heard of so an explanation would help-what it is, where to get, substitutes etc. I like the local pictures but what does tge recipe look like? I like the spice recipes but I'd like a suggestion as to what to use it on.
