Love the mr men series and little miss series and my 3 kids love them too. This one wasn't the best one though. Not as funny or as surprising as the others. Maybe it's time to stop writing new ones if they can't reach the same level as the first 20? My kids love mr lazy, mr forgetful and miss hug the most. I also think mr tupsy-turvy is funny as well as mr. Impossible. We have read and re-read them all. They are great for all ages.
Ah one of the Mr Men's best loved characters finally gets his own book. After first being named in Mr Small - Walter said "oh", for Walter is a worm if few words pmsl! He has been seen in most books since, and fully deserves his very own adventure. Written in the tradition of the late Roger Hargreaves, by his son and inspiration, Adam, this ranks up there with the very best. It must be getting increasingly difficult to come up with new Mr Men and Little Misses, so this makes perfect since to me, and it is easily the best one since Mr Rude. The story has been given number 49 in the official Mr Man range by the way.
My son loves this book. Especially when Walter wears a towel! For some reason the idea of a worm being human like made him giggle! Great, fun add on to the Mr Men and Little Miss series (we have them all)!
