This looked to be a good cookbook for those on low carbs, to cook meals in a slow cooker. I was excited to try the recipes. Then I started to really view the recipes and noticed there's a lot of can products which add to a lot of hidden carbs. For example Thai Green Curry Chicken- Can of baby mini corn has 2g of sugar. 1 1/2 cans of coconut milk 6g per can so 9g for the can and a half. 11g between the corn and milk. However the recipe only claims 5.9 carbs Not all the recipes have hidden carbs just beware of the ones that do, watch using can items since most of them have carbs. I'll use the recipes of the ones with low carbs and maybe able to change around some of the ingredients and reduce the carbs. *disclaimer: I received this item for free in exchange for my fair and honest review.
