4.0 out of 5 starsSafety Works Against Precision Trimming
Reviewed in India on 30 May 2019
The rounded edges instead of sharp ones are meant to protect you from accidentally pricking/poking your skin or fingers, I believe. Purely from a safety-when-grooming point of view, I don't think it's a big help, compared to a normal pair of grooming scissors.
On the other hand, trimming my nasal hair after a shave has become a pain in the ar$3 although, I admit, I shouldn't make a big deal out of it considering I only do it occasionally (~ twice a month), so getting used to can take a bit of time. The big, round, blunt edges block the view of the nostril and (1) make it difficult to cut stray hairs and (2) and precisely trim nasal hair along the edges of the nostril.
The scissors itself is very good. It trims well, the quality is good, ambidextrous (for both right and left-handed), the cap works both to keep the scissors sharp and for safety.
So while I'd like to believe that I should have just purchased a normal pair of grooming scissors, I also think that with time I can get used to using this one and feel nice.
