A Book with great substance

A well written fiction. There is a flow in the narrative. Though easy reading, a discerning can see many subtle hints of the deeper aspects of life. One would think while starting to read that it is just another fiction on romance. May be there is romance; but there is serious introspection. There are philosophical musings which add a distinct flavour to the story telling. Such philosophical introspection does not remain just as a theory. But in practice they are true. Portrayal of various characters with their strengths and weaknesses and without any extremes or exaggeration, add credibility to the narrative. Live in the Now and not in the past memories, good or bad, or in the fear of future yet to fructify, is almost same as "Let Go and Rejoice", a throwback to Upanishadic quote. I like it. In fact it is a message to every one. Especially the young generation.
Many of the characters remain etched in one's mind even after finishing the reading. Another beautiful aspect is the happy ending. It symbolizes how one can approach the life's choices. It is for us to decide whether we want to have a happy ending or something beset with misery. Happy ending may not mean that we would be laughing all the time. This to me means how we understand each situation which is loaded with past baggage and how we decide to move on and be prepared to face the life as it comes.
