This is a beautiful story written by Natasha Madison. It is full of life, energy, warmth and love in all its form - to family, friends, sisters, brothers and the one. Well written and plot was just good.
So let me start by saying something you will see a lot in reviews for this book, Evan is MINE! I saw him first, I claimed him first, I licked him so he’s mine! Now that’s out of the way let me tell you about my man’s book...
This is crazy is a fun filled, swoony, laugh out loud easy read that will bring you nothing but happy feelings.
If you know Natasha Madison you will have read her outstanding Something So Series, if you haven’t, firstly which rock have you been living under? And secondly, get right on that! Though This is Crazy is a stand-alone, if you’ve read the Something So Series, you will already know and love these characters. Zara Stone is the daughter of NHL royalty, Cooper Stone is the player every up and coming hockey star wants to be, and records they want to beat, she’s also the sister of another of hockey’s stars, Matthew Grant, and sister-in-law to Mad Max Horton (they’re a big deal family, you get the picture). After heartbreak at the hands of a man she thought she loved, Zara goes looking for revenge in the form of a tweet to her ex’s favourite hockey player, Evan Richards, publicly inviting him on a date. To both their surprises Evan says yes!
This story has everything p, a group of girls you want to go out for drinks with and be best friends with and a group of overprotective alpha men who don’t like to see Zara grown up, as well as the sexiest, most romantic book boyfriend ever! As always with Natasha’s books, they just get better and better, this for me is like a bowl of chicken noodle soup on a freezing cold day, it’s everything you want and need, comforting and enjoyable, wrapping you up in a hug.
If I could, I’d give this book a million stars, but I can’t so 5 will have to do! Read this book now and also see the sneak peek at Zara’s twin sister Zoe’s love interest, who book 2 is about!
Zara and Ed have split. Zara is devastated but is given the old it's me not you type of rubbish. After a while Zara moves on and then she reads that Ed has a new woman one he is engaged to. So after some thought and tequila Zara tweets Eds idol Evan Richards asking him if he would be her date to crash Eds wedding. It all starts from there. Evan is a hockey player and Zara does not date Hockey players. This book I could not put it down loved every bit of it . Loved characters from earlier books making appearances loved the new characters and cant wait to hear more from them all. You must read this book. A well deserved 5*
This Is Crazy was a great read. That had the perfect mix of sweetness and heat. As well as charming characters and an entertaining storyline. But it wasn't quite as polished as other books by this author have been. Yet, that didn't stop me enjoying it and I was completely pulled in.
Plus, I have to say it was great to catch up with so many of my favourite characters and the romance between Evan and Zara was spot on. Not to mention I loved how it all developed from that one crazy reactionary tweet to a happy ever after, that had me swooning. And I really can't wait to read more from this series, especially from Zara's twin sister Zoe. Who was fabulous throughout. And I would happily recommend it to others.
Natasha Madison is in my opinion one of the best hockey romance writers out there! I have been hooked since 'Something so Right' the first book in this hockey family series.
Who would have thought a sample # could produce such a hot, sizzling book!
Zara dumped by her boyfriend decides to get back at him by asking his hockey idol Evan Richards on a date to crash her ex's wedding! Evan not one to back down from a challenge excepts and then the fun and sizzle really begins.
I love that you get to hear from all the characters from the previous books in the series and to see that they are still as funny and entertaining as ever!
I am so looking forward to Zoe's story - Zaras twin coming up next!
A great follow on with the kids now they're older. A gentleman through and through and a sassy girl . He's a rising ice hockey player. Her father is a legend on the ice as is her brother. Loved the humour and Sara's relationship with her twin Zoe is full of fun and laughter. Evan is sweet but dirty and I love the names of his dogs.
What started as a result Tweet to her exes favourite hockey player ends up being a wonderful journey of building trust and acceptance. Oh and she doesn't like ice hockey!
Wasn’t sure I was gonna like either twin but I did, and this book exceeded my expectations. Loved Evan, omg what a gentleman and he an Zara had the perfect chemistry. So initially it was gate crashing the ex’s wedding and they hit it off big time. Not without its drama but both characters were extremely likeable. Couple of editing issues but didn’t detract from read. Would have liked an explanation as to if they went to the ex’s wedding or not. Otherwise really great read.
A crazy way to meet when heartbroken Zara requests a date with her ex's hockey playing hero, Evan and he agrees. Zara is from a rival hockey family but Evan is not deterred. It comes to them admitting their feelings when the wheels almost come off due to misunderstandings and meddling.
