It is as dark and twisted as the first book. Their story feels like there is more to tell and hopefully, there will be more of them, not just in Em and Callum's book when it is finally written.

The Pretty Lies series is phenomenal and the characters have depth and various facets that make this series so engaging. As the story unfolds, peeling layers back that create plot twists at every turn, the dark secrets revealed only serve to tie the characters closer together. It’s an interconnected web of dark secrets that will keep your reading. Rhett/Rhys and Nova sizzle and their darker sides creates the perfect synergy. I will say, I hoped for better editing. The grammar and spelling mistakes detracted from the story. Also, some more scenes with the various surrounding characters and their actions outside of the Rhett / Nova relationship would’ve made the story more well-rounded. Overall a great story that needed a bit of editing.

I love these characters and the craziness they embody. I feel like there's still more to be learned and I can't wait for the next book. This is shaping up to be another great series for Natalie Bennett 🖤

I never come to Bennett looking for hearts and flowers. I come when I want my brain messed with, when I wanna explore the other sides of people, the sides they don’t want to show, and this duet was filled with these things!
Rhett & Nova burned bright in book one, but we sure got to the underbelly of a lot of things in part 2.
Now, all I need is Emery & Callums story and I’ll be a content little lamb.... 😉

Wow. I am speechless. My heart is in my throat because I loved this book so much I wish I wasnt done reading it. Rhett/Rhys is a dreamboat. Yea he is a little insane but I am HERE FOR IT.
