Quality of essays ranges from average to subpar. Essays on irrelevant and never asked topics like "Narendra Modi: The leader of new India", "Ramnath Kovind: The 14th President of India", "Manushi Chhillar: A beauty with brains in India", "Baba Ramdev the Yog Guru", "Virat Kohli", etc. are too political/insignificant. In fact the entire section devoted to "Renowned personalities" does not make sense. UPSC never gave such topics and it is uncharacteristic of it to ask them in future too. Also, the essays are more like a compilation of information rather than being analytical. No deep research. It does have a LOT of topics covered in different fields so it can probably be used as a first-hand source for basic information and idea-formation. But then again, that purpose can be served by a lot of other essay books. This is definitely NOT the BEST book for UPSC essays.

The book delivered was very crumpled and wrinkly. Too damaged to look like a new book.
