3.0 out of 5 starsA generalised anatomy of ethical living

Considering the contents of the book 'Practicing of spiritual intelligence', the title seems to be somewhat to be misleading to me as it does not enumerate much on so called spiritual intelligence; the author has given a generalised description of facets of ethical living without being specific of 'spiritual intelligence'. He does not define or enumerate SI in the same analogy as intelligence, emotional intelligence etc are defined scientifically. I was hoping to find what constitutes SI and what are its characteristics so that one can get an inkling as to how much of SI one has and how much one is inclined on spiritual path. I happen to have a better grasp of SI by reading some of the books by Deepak Chopra & other western spiritual writers. The pointers may be there but it may not be that easy to comprehend fully what really 'spiritual intelligence' is. The book elaborates more on ethical living and enlightens & motivates one on this aspect with apt anecdotes but nothing more. Nevertheless, the author's efforts to write on such a tricky subject (that too spiritual one) where words fail to convey the essence of these esoteric concepts is laudable. A readable book indeed for one who is nascent on spiritual path.
