This is a refreshing book......without mincing his words or trying to be a moral preacher, the author has backed up his points of view with relevant, engaging and yet entertaining anecdotes and fables, which make the book a compelling read. Though meant to be a book on leadership only, in my opinion, it is a must read for everybody since it touches upon various facets of our daily lives and provides food for thought and nuggets of wisdom for everyone- for example while illustrating the importance of simple mission statement – the author starts with an interesting story which concludes with a learning that “there is no free lunch!” and goes on to examine the relevance of Bhagwad Gita and Upanishads.
This books takes a look at the grey areas of leadership and aspects which are generally not discussed or dissected openly in other books on leadership. The author's ability to weave jokes into the narrative is praiseworthy as it makes the book easy to read.
The one thing I liked about this book is that this book is "brutally honest" about leadership. This book also contains short stories so that the reader can be engaged and entertained. Very though provoking one and the best one I have ever read about leadership.
I was lucky to pre order the book. Amazon service is super fast... I have just started reading it. Its interesting one. If you want to improve your leadership skills, knowledge. You can start by reading this book.
