Blessed Monsters is the epic conclusion of the dark fantasy trilogy Something Dark and Holy by Emily A. Duncan. I have really love this serie and hope we get more in this world.
Nadya, Serefin and Malachaisz where great characters and even tough Malachaisz was turning even more of a monsters then human, it turned out for the best in the end. They were up againts dark gods and chaos, stuff that they were responsible for unleashing in to begin with , before its to late.
Can't wait to read more from this author. Love the cover of this book and the deckle edges of the book.
I really enjoyed the first book in the series. The second one was ok. This one I did not enjoy. I found that the author kept telling the same narrative over and over like they were trying to pound it into my head. After the same concept 3x’s I got bored. And then it was just too much to accept that after all the blood and tragedy they all just go happily along with their lives. Sorry even for fantasy this was just too choppy and nonsensical.
Awesome series. Very vivid storytelling - I could imagine the scenery and hear the accents. Made me want to learn more about Russian and Eastern European folklore. Religion, divinity, belief, faith - age old and fascinating topics.
Very fitting ending to the story. I hope we get to have more novels in this universe and learn more about Parj and Rashid, and about the gods and their ascensions and more of their backstories. I am an avid fan.
