To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I wish I would have read this before reading it with my 5 year old. The evil villain is "Stinky McNasty" and he tries to force the robot to "destroy the city" terrifying all the mice of Squeakyville. The robot stomps around, the villain yells some more --- I felt it was pretty intense. We stopped about halfway through and I hope my son forgets about it. This is not what I want my kid play-acting as tomorrow.
While my son loves this series, the extremely poor quality of the books' binding forces me to rate this with one star. Every single book has had pages just start falling out after a few days- something I have never seen outside of this series, despite have three little readers under the age of 7. The frustration and cost of tape are just not worth it; avoid these books if at all possible.
Bought this book for my 3.5 yo son and was very disappointed with the subject matter. Read it to him only once and now my son is running around talking about destroying the city :(. So not appropriate!
