A read into his life, beyond his work.

Yasser's book, transcends only cinematic work done by Dutt, but attempts to paint vividly the life, and mind of the genius who left us too soon.
Due emphasis is given to Geeta Dutt and her contribution to his life, fame and work, often eclipsed.
A book that handles Guru Dutt, his short, tumultuous life, with dignity and empathy.
The language is simple, which makes for an easy and paced read. For Guru Dutt fans like me, who've read about him and viewed his work avidly through varied lenses, some familiar anecdotes will make you smile. All with the feeling of impending doom that we knew came.
