The first two issues of this series were, in comparison, very slow. They were definitely needed to build up your back story and to set the pacing in our tale - as all stories should.
Issue #3 throws you RIGHT into the action. I have two young kids and it isn't always easy to find a few minutes to get to sit down and REEEEAALLY digest a whole story. So the first two issues actually took me a couple sits, and I ended up reading them a couple times over a few days. This issue though I just blitzed through over my morning coffee, and I was actually shocked with how fast I got to the end! Once you turn the first page on this, you're in for some Alien action!
I won't go into more in depth details, but the story is definitely moving along in this issue, and you're getting to the meat-and-potatoes of an Alien story: all the Aliens.
The series over all I would have listed as 3 stars, but a solid 4 after this issue. Excellent read. The art still is a little wonky for my taste, but the coloring and atmosphere is done well and I'm in this till the end!
