Lovely Revolution is the love story of Rajeev and Neha.
The story does not start until after the first few chapters. Neha and Rajeev are best friends. Rajeev loves Neha but Neha gives him mixed signals.
Most of the book is occupied with conversations between Rajiv and his friends as well as Rajiv and Neha.
I feel the conversations are very generic, there was nothing new about it.
Neha and Rajeev both constantly manipulate each other and still pretend to be innocent.
What I disliked the most about this book is that the English has a lot of errors, there are multiple instances of improper sentence structure and sentences translated directly from Hindi. Some sentences did not make any sense.
This made comprehension very difficult.
The book would have been more enjoyable if it was written in Hindi itself.
The book has a few important messages related to morals and ethics.
The whole plot of the story is not very well structured. The mixture of two tracks (romance and career) make the book monotonous. At a point, only daily events were plainly narrated, even though nothing significant happened in them.
Some parts of the story bear a striking resemblance with Cafe Rampur which is another creation of the author.
The book needs editing and proofreading.
The book could have been structured and presented in a better way to enrich the readers experience.
