To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Booker's choice of centering her mysteries around Paisley Sutton's salvage business just opens a world of possibilities. The multi generation, multi cultural mysteries in this novel are entertaining and offer glimpse of worlds past.
I thoroughly enjoyed the story if that is the correct word to say about Aboriginal burial grounds being hidden and about murder. I was lost in the story from start to finish. However, I really wish that proofreading was not left to automation. Auto-correct only corrects spelling mistakes and does not catch missing words in sentences or the misnaming of a character. Please better proofreading would have made the book a 5 star book.
I chose this rating because , even though I enjoyed the story, all the generational information was confusing at times and a bit tedious. The ending was quite surprising and a good who done it. If you enjoy reading about genealogy, this is a good read for you.
