Once again we meet the ladies of 48 Berkeley Square. Lady Agatha Barrett is considered on the shelf after two seasons. As the third season starts, Agatha has made her list of dares with the ladies at 48 Berkeley Square. Stealing Lord Marsden's cat was first on the list. By chance Simon, the Duke of Ranford catches her in the act of returning it. A kiss leads to a marriage of convenience. Only Agatha has made up her mind she wants more. Simon can't resist her. It's always a nice read when a Duke is caught off guard falling in love with his wife. The heat level rises as Simon finally unleashes his passion.

This Wagers and Wallflowers book was slow and the characters were hard to root for. The hero was a bit of a jerk and the heroine both well informed and yet excruciatingly naive. I gave it 3 stars because I like the series, but this one was not a winner.
