After the first two books in the reluctant romances series, it was beautiful to see how Andaleeb has redeemed Kamran’s character. It has been such a graceful metamorphosis from being an ass to being the guy who wears his heart on his sleeves. I found the change of scenery from the usual Starville Tower to be refreshing too. The outdoor conference, London etc were an enjoyable change of pace. Ayman’s feelings could not have been brought out in a better manner and my chest tightened painfully when she was hurt. I love how Andaleeb keeps the emotions real and brings out the earnestness of human complexities with such ease. Always a pleasure reading her stories.
Oh my! Kamran seemed almost unattainable at the beginning but when you go deep into the plot you find hidden secrets, family problems that this book becomes more than the couple. Ayman and Kamran of the Starville Towers are one of the most well rounded and mature characters I got to meet in the Starville Towers universe. I never wanted this book to end,so attached I had become to the characters Pick up this book to enjoy a romance that got another chance and despite the misunderstanding and the lack of confidence the two protagonists still found each other and took you in their world.
I said in my last review that these books are so close to reality you feel as if it just happened in your neighbourhood, but but this is not just a book they should be tag as Life lessons what Jawad and Tasneem has faced is is what is faced by many couples in reality the problem is so easily and so smoothly expressed The Neighbours reaction the families reaction so accurately captured many people can learn from this book that it is the communication which is more important between the couples open your mind open your heart and you can see the life Smiles at you lovely the best book I have red sofa hats off andaleeb wajid. The best line i found in this book is.. " We need to check the water in our tanki.... Love marriages happening left right and center" Hahaha..... Im eagerly waiting for iqra's book.
This series just gets interesting with every new book that is published. So much so that you feel Starville Towers is actually a complex next door and we know the characters personally.
Kamran, the assumed evil guy from book 1 turns out to be a hero for sweet little Ayman. I love the way their story unfolds - their outing, their secret office affair is all exciting to read. The way their feelings have been portrayed is brilliant... This, by far is the best book in the series for me... and now that I know book 4 is already out, I can't wait to read Tazeen and Jawad's story soon
Kamran and ayman's story was so warm, so much maturity that it showed thru their journey.. kamran's character was a totally heart taking one wt so much confidence, strength and love in his heart. He had them all and he showed the courage to prove it over...Ayman being from a conservative background but her actions ad belief were a surprise.
Andaleeb wajids books are portraying a very positive image of women who being from a Conservative society but are yet independent and confident. This is going to be among those books , that i would be coming back to over n over again. Loved it.
The author has continued her series with yet another unique love story, the heroine and hero Ayman and Kamran fall in love naturally. The progression of their relationship is very realistic, so are the misunderstandings and issues around family that arise. The author has also sensitively dealt with the topic of domestic violence and added layers to the experiences of the characters. The locations in the book are characters unto their own, especially the experiences unique to the city.
I love Andaleeb Wajids books and writing style. As usual an amazing job of bringing together the main characters in love. It's so relatable and real . Fun, romance ,drama and offcourse some gossip. Awesome
There is something to be said for reading a romance that is as relatable as it is sweet and angsty. Andaleeb's trademark style of writing about characters like you and me and giving them the romance of their dreams is what I look forward to every time I pick up one of her books.
Super loved the latest gem by Andaleeb. It is such a beautiful story... Exactly as I wanted Kamran's story to be. I found him a very sweet and sensitive character but a misunderstood one... So when he fell in love and got his HEA, I was all smiles. The vulnerability shown by him makes him so endearing and Ayman is the perfect match for him. And the best part I loved about this series is the way the characters interweave so seamlessly in each other's story. Now waiting for Iqra to get her love 😍😍😍
