To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I've never been disappointed by a Cindy Bell story. It is great to read something where the sleuths are women in their fifties, and the men are accepting of them as strong, intelligent, capable women. These books are quick and easy to read, but don't lack in substance. Anyone who enjoys a good cozy will love this set!
I enjoy a good mystery but like to have a chance of figuring out "who did it". These books lead me around in circles and there is chance to know what is going on until the whole plot is exposed. Probably won't read any more.
An easy read. Only gave it three stars as its a predictable storyline, and the main character ignores everyone's advice, does whatever she wants and comes out smelling of roses. Usually find the female author sees herself as the heroine in the story.
I have enjoyed the novels for the most part in the series but they are written in the same style and easy to predict. As the end is near the two main characters continually make the same moves and end up in a near death situation with a rescue. I see that as a problem as those reading the series will become bored with being able to predict.
