Girl in the red house is a mysterious novel written by Yash pawaskar. This book is the second one in the series of mansol mysteries. The overall plot of the book is highly engaging and intriguing as the writing style of the author is mysterious that keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end.

This book revolves around the story of sagar kulkarni who is a budding author and has written one bestselling novel and is working on his next book. During his stay in a hotel he saw a girl committing suicide in a house located nearby his hotel. When he tries to unravel the mystery of that girl living in the red house, he discovers some breathtaking and frightening truths that is completely shocking.

Overall, this book is a short collection of story that is very well written. The author has presented the characters in a very neat manner that will hold your interest in the story till the end. Hence, it's a must read for all mystery thriller fans.

💫This is a thrilling novella which shows what happens if you are trapped in your own mind, what happens when you Sink in your own guilt. Is there a bigger punishment than living life with guilt?
💫The author definitely deserves more attention as his work is splendidly done and it does actually serve a purpose. It is really amazing how just a short story makes the reader go through a plethora of emotions.
It is undoubtedly very engaging and for the readers who enjoy psychological thrillers, it’s definitely a must read.

The main protagonist of the story is an acclaimed author who recently won a prestigious award for his first book written by him. He finds himself trapped in a hotel room to complete his next story.

With strict deadlines and stuck on a writer's block he starts imagining weird things as if he is consumed by his own thoughts. He feels tormented and haunted by a nightmare which gives him an illusion of seeing arbitrary things.

He happens to see across the other side of the hotel only to find attracted towards a girl in the red house. Intrigued by her, he went towards her apartment to save her from attempting suicide.

There are lots of twists and turns in the storyline that the author isn't able to identify truth and fiction.
He starts finding himself in such dreadlocks that haunt him like nothing. Soon does he knows, his past experiences of life came right in front of him making him guilty of his own actions.

What did he done in his life before so as to feel trapped in the present. What was the relevance of the girl doing in the opposite building under construction. What made the author took a drastic step following the guit and incidents of the past. What is his current situation. Do read this book to find out the real mystery.

The story is about a young writer who is working on his second novel. Sagar struggles to complete his novel as he finds something psychologically troubling him. So he moved to the same place where he wrote his blockbuster novel. Hoping that he could probably complete the book on time, everything turns upside down when he meets Juhi, whom he's been watching for a long time from his hotel balcony. No more spoilers, guys. Pick up the book and read it; you won't be disappointed.
Few things I liked about the book
1. The cover made me pick up the book without a second thought.
2. There are very few characters and pages.
3. Narration is appreciable.

Things I found disturbing
1. Some elements were triggering; maybe this could be part of a thriller, but I will not recommend this for beginners.
